

Chef Thomas Leeb


Thomas Leeb, well-known chef in Las Palmas de GC with Austrian roots, settled in Gran Canaria since 1984, awarded at the XXX gastronomic awards of the Diario de Avisos 2015 as best chef of foreign cuisine, founded by the great gastronomic critic D. Manuel Iglesias a benchmark in Canarian gastronomy.
Selected in the final of the best chef in the Canary Islands 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, awarded the 1st sun of the Repsol 2014 guide, and the 2nd Sun 2015, in the Mahou 2014 awards, he was a finalist as the best creative chef.
He was the host of the restaurant THOMAS algo? until 2016 with 2 Repsol soles and recommended in the Michelin guide. Awarded as the best foreign cuisine in the Diario de Avisos awards. During the years 2015 to 2017, he served as Executive Chef of the emblematic Santa Catalina 5 * hotel and its gastronomic restaurant, La Terraza de Thomas, included in 2017 in the Michelin guide.
